Hello,

I am forwarding to you several of my recent modeling photos, comp card, stats and modeling resume. I have an online portfolio attached that covers a wide range of areas and looks that I believe your agency may be interested. It includes lifestyles, fashion, and commercial photography.

Above is an example of what we expect to receive…

*If you don’t have any of the above then please explain what exactly you are sending for us to review?
*If you don’t have professional images, send good quality photos of you alone that show you at your best in different looks for us to consider. Three photos will be considered enough.
*Do not run out and spend money with a photographer before signing with anyone.
*We will tell you if interested when to get professional pictures and consider recommendations together.
*Your comp card should show your stats, but if you don’t have one, then include in this letter what is your: Age range, Height, Weight, Hair & Eye color and Shirt/Pant/Dress Size?
If you don’t have an online portfolio then only describe your look and why we would be interested in working with you? Choose photos to send that will show your best qualities to be considered. Nothing fancy just some basic snap shots will work just good as a $500 photo shoot!
I have experience working with photographers, makeup artists, and how to present myself in front of a camera. I no longer desire to be in the spot light, my job is to promote you. *Above is only an example of what we want to know in your own words…
* If you have had professional experience, list with whom you have modeled or photographed with.
* Or if you are a newcomer, list any training you have had.
* Do not create or makeup anything that is not true!
Please end the email in the format below:

My theme for our model is to keep it classy with red and black. Red and black are the hottest colors for the Fall. The candy strips with a hint of red inside the purse really brings out the theme of the photo shoot.

7 Tips Becoming A Model by Marie Claire Magazine

1. Do Your Research

Aaron says the biggest mistake that aspiring models make is "not doing the research beforehand." Not sure where to start? Aaron suggests that "One should check to see who is reputable first, length in the buisness, and who an agency represents." Look for an agent by flipping through your favorite magazine spreads and making a note of which agency represents the models you like. If you're looking into a smaller agency, do some internet research before giving them a call to make sure they have a good reputation in the industry.

2. Be Prepared
"Classes can be helpful to individuals in terms of self confidence and comfort with aspects of the business," says Aaron, though he emphasizes that classes are by no means a prerequisite. Consider the option if you feel like you have something that's holding you back, lack knowledge of the industry, or if you're in need of a confidence boost. And like with any job, read up on the agency you're interviewing with, including past and present models signed with them and company news.

3. Make Your Portfolio Picture-Perfect
Your book, or modeling portfolio, is your resume, so make sure that it's in tip-top shape before you schedule interviews or auditions or attend an open-call. "A great portfolio is a relative concept; after all, you cant please every client all the time," Aaron says, but make sure that your book has enough variation that an agency can see your potential. Aaron says, "The basis of a good book should show a model who is comfortable in front of the camera, one who has a range of expression and movement." Less is more: "As to length, a few great pictures can look better than a long book of fluff." Think of your portfolio as a story that you're telling to a prospective agency — a short story. "A flow to the book is important — after all you want to get and keep the client's attention," Aaron says.

4. Be Yourself
So you've booked a meeting with an agent — now what? Resist the temptation to paint on new eyebrows or shop for a new outfit before your interview. Aaron says, "I always say "come as you are.' If you have a quirky look or style naturally, work that! Don't be concerned about changing who you are to impress an agency. When meeting prospective models we prefer to see them as they are: no makeup, natural hair, and their personality." Leave the flowing maxi-dress at home and keep your outfit simple: "Body-conscious clothing like skinny jeans and a tank are good so we can see the body."

5. Smile for the Camera

In addition to your portfolio, bring some casual shots as well. "When we meet with prospective models we ask to see a couple of snapshots or Polaroids," Aaron says. "A simple headshot, bodyshot, profile, and a smile is good." Keep your clothes simple so they don't distract from your shape and face, and play around with different poses and facial expressions.

6. Speak Up

Personality is key, so sit up straight and spit out that gum! Aaron says, "An outgoing personality is always a standout." They're looking for models who are "able to express themselves and not be nervous or shy. A feeling that modeling is something they want to do, rather than something they are being pushed into is key." He says that "the models that do well are confident, ambitious, and have a certain humbleness about the fact that being genetically gifted is what got them in the business," says Aaron. "In the end this is a business and respect and professionalism is really important." Arrive for your audition or interview early and ready — no scrambling to rearrange your book in the elavator.

7. Read Before Signing on the Dotted Line

If you've impressed the agency enough to get an offer, take a deep breath before doing a celebratory dance and signing a contract. "Do not sign anything without reading first!" Aaron says. "Do your research, and just go with what your gut tells you." Make sure any questions you have about your contract are answered and clarified before you sign.

Mr. Wrong by [Mary J Blige:] Is Just Wrong!

What kind of message is this song sending to  young Women. Please do not tell me this is just a song! This is one of the most idiotic  songs I ever heard in my life. 269 people hit like on this song, which tells me their are 269 dumb Women in this world and a player only needs one. I actually heard a lady sing this song while we were having a girls night out. I wanted to hit her in the head to see if her brain would come back. Young Women this song is wrong on all levels. Good guys are fun, and just as creative as the player she is in love with in this song, if you would allow them to be. Good guys take their time to try to get to know you. Whats wrong with that! A good guy is a gentlemen. He opens the door for you, introduces you to his family and friends. He makes plans for your future. So what ladies if he is not rich, if he has standards, goals, and dreams. You would be stupid not to stick with that good guy because he is rich in spirit. To me, that is priceless. They also tell you they love you or atleast  go out of their way to show it. Ladies, if a man only sleeps with you and doesn't take his time to invest in you. I suggest you leave him, please stop sleeping with him, know your worth, and trust me he is truly Mr. Wrong!

This is not love, this is mental abuse between two people with low self esteem. Whoever that man is really spending all their time with, is the Women they truly love. Even if he is a good guy, if he is not willing to invest time with you, give him a month or two but after that leave him, hes not into you and he doesnt want to hurt your feelings. Thats my standards, and trust me, I stick to them no matter how in love I am. Love is his actions also not just words. WAKE UP LADIES! I want you to read the lyrics to this song and tell every Women you know to please not fall victim to stupidity.

When he put that loving on me, I can’t think of nothing

Good boys aint no fun

Aint no way that I’m moving on
I love my Mr Wrong

WRONG  LADIES! WRONG ON EVERY LEVEL!

"Mr. Wrong"(feat. Drake)

[Drake - Verse 1:]
Don’t it seem like, like I’m always there when it matters
But missing most of the other time, a terrible pattern
The rewards I see from working made me an addict
Theres way more people that want it than people that have it
I dont get it, I would hate to think I tricked ‘em
They fall victim to my system, guess I sure know how to pick ‘em
And I’m always her regret, yeah, I’m always her regret
And I always make it harder on whoever’s coming next
It goes up and down, it’s just up and down
She’s crying now but she’ll laugh again
Cause we on the rise and she here with us
In expensive shit, just keeps happening
She loves it, she stares at me like who does this
And we hold hands while I pray that she’s not the type to hold grudges
I’m wrong..

[Mary J Blige:]
Bad boys aint no good
Good boys aint no fun

Lord knows that I should
Run off with the right one

[Chorus:]
Me and Mr Wrong get along so good (so good)
Even though he breaks my heart so bad (so bad)
We got a special thing going on
Me and Mr Wrong (mister wrong)
Even if I try, no, I never could
Give him up cause his loves like that
Aint no way that I’m moving on
I love my Mr Wrong

Hung up off your good
You call and I run
My family's screaming at me don’t do it
Don't do it Mary.
I guess they never had none

[Chorus]

When he put that loving on me, I can’t think of nothing
That’ll make me walk out
I’m holding on
I love my Mr Wrong
He be kissing and touching on me
I can’t help but love him
I must be out of my mind
For going so strong
I love my Mr Wrong

[Chorus:]
Me and Mr Wrong get along so good (so good)
Even though he breaks my heart so bad (so bad)
We got a special thing going on
Me and Mr Wrong, (mister wrong)
Even if I try, no, I never could
Give him up cause his loves like that
Aint no way that I’m moving on
I love my Mr Wrong

Is This Child Modeling?

Is this child modeling?.  I want you to comment! This is not this beautiful child who is at fault!

Stop Exploiting Children! Agencies!

After flipping through some French magazines, ive notice the tasteless trends of child exploitation. This is neither artistic, nor the proper method to child modeling. This is something I would expect from an adult model. To my surprise,  some people still purchase these magazines and they simply look over the fact that someones child is being taken advantage of, shame on you Agencies. Yes, I said Agencies! The Agency along with the parents or guardians is solely responsible for these actions. You want your child to be famous so bad, you are willing  to sale them to be exploited. Oh lets not forget the greedy Agent who has not put that childs interest at heart. Neither am I a rich Agent monetarily nor do I get all the social points people crave to feel like they are somebody. I may have lost a lot of things because of that, however I can sleep at night with a clear conscious. I can take it even farther by saying, when I meet my maker, he will ask me what did I do with my Agency that pleased him. I can tell my Father, I protected as many children as possible by not letting the World exploit them  and I tried to teach them to give charity to those in need.. Parents I want you to read the article below!

Within the pages of the Tom Ford–guest edited December/January edition of French VOGUE, you’ll find amongst other things (like a Wild West–themed photo shoot titled “Pussy West” by Terry Richardson) a fashion layout with children as models.
Wearing tight dresses, sky-high stilettos, dazzling jewelry and vampy make-up, the baby-faced chanteuses featured in the spread (titled “Cadeaux,” meaning “gifts”) were approved by the magazine’s controversial editor, Carine Roitfeld. This is Roitfeld’s last issue, a departure after 10 years questioned by industry insiders: Did she leave on her own accord? Or was she fired due to shoots such as this one? Many are up in arms at these images, which appear to be her grand finalĂ© ploy for attention (Christianity Today goes as far as calling the photos “an assault on little girls.”) Check them out and be your own judge:

French Vogue Grooms Its Youngest Models Yet

As we bid au revoir to French Vogue's controversial editor, Carine Roitfeld, let us spend a moment with the most controversial images from her final issue: kindergarteners in vampy lipstick and stilettos, languishing in bed and on a tiger-skin rug.
Roitfeld has been known to mockingly indulge the fashion industry's worst impulses. (See also: Plastic surgery erotica, "fat" model eating.) The spread, entitled "Cadeaux" (gifts), goes the full Pretty Baby.
Click on the images below to view the spread. Click here to view on one page.
When I first heard that Vogue Paris' December/January issue featured "children," I thought it was a reference to cover model Daphne Groeneveld, who is 16.
French Vogue Grooms Its Youngest Models Yet
But then I saw the pictures! These are children-children. New York called them "6-year-olds," but I'm not sure if that's a fact or just an estimate.
French Vogue Grooms Its Youngest Models Yet
They're not so young, though: Six years from now they could be walking international runways, like this girl, or be "fashion's favorite star," like Elle Fanning. This is perhaps related to the "complicated," "artful" message here.
French Vogue Grooms Its Youngest Models Yet
I am of two minds on Vogue Paris' Toddlers in Tiaras edition. On one hand, it's straight out of the id of John Mark Carr, which is prima facie disgusting. On the other, Christianity Today has already named the images an "assault on little girls" (is that word really necessary?) and obviously I don't want to agree with them.
French Vogue Grooms Its Youngest Models Yet
As a child, some lackadaisical guardian-of-a-friend allowed us to watch Pretty Baby, Brooke Shield's child prostitute movie, and the message I absorbed was, "I want makeup like that." (In retrospect: Were we being "groomed"?) So maybe these little girls will grow up to be bloggers.
French Vogue Grooms Its Youngest Models Yet
Anyway! Youth and fashion: The inevitable conclusion. Good-bye, Carine. You will not be forgotten.

MaKenzey Anna Cain is a typical teenager, she is the daughter of Olando and Kelly Cain and has a twin sister, MaKayley and a younger sister, Lillian. She just finished up the 8th grade at Athens Middle School where she has been a cheerleader for the past two years. She is a JV Cheerleader at Athens High School and on the Onyx All-Stars Senior 5 competition cheer team at Onyx Cheerleading and Gymnastics, this is her 8th year at Onyx. Cheerleading is her passion. Recently during cheer camp she had developed a cough and later complained of her ribs hurting, after several complaints and her face being swollen she went to a walk in clinic where they did a chest x-ray and she was sent to the emergency room to be treated for pneumonia. At the emergency room she was given an IV antibiotic and sent home with a prescription and told to follow up with her regular doctor. She followed up with her regular doctor where they did another chest x-ray and discovered that it was worse than the first x-ray done at the clinic. She was then referred to a lung specialist, where she was diagnosed with pneumonia and admitted to the hospital. She spent 5 days in the hospital being treated for pneumonia and was released. She had a follow up appointment with the lung specialist 4 days later, another x-ray was done and it was worse than the last, the lung specialist admitted her back into the hospital for surgery to have the fluids removed from her chest. A CT scan was ordered and it came back showing a large mass in her chest and the fluids tested positive for Lymphoma cancer cells. The mass in her chest was compressing her airway and the main arteries in her heart, she was medflighted to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital in Memphis, TN, where she was officially diagnosed with T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. She is currently receiving her treatments at St. Judes. A Facebook page, Cheering For MaKenzey has been set up to follow her updates. Model Talk Issue 1!

While the criteria to become a model varies according to the type of fashion modeling field you pursue, a few standards are required of all models. Models typically need to have clear skin, healthy hair and good teeth. Most models also have a toned physique. When my son, our secret scout saw Via at his school, we knew our search was over. Via was selected by designer Dillion Charles and the AHA to auction off their custom made ball room gown for the American Heart Association Heart's Ball 2012, located in Huntsville, Alabama at the Westin Hotel. Editorial and high fashion runway models have the strictest criteria. Women have to be at least 5 feet 8 inches tall, have a thin build with hips measuring no larger than 35 inches and be between the ages of 16 to 26. Most male models have to be at least 5 feet 11 inches with an athletic build. NLS teen model Via meets those requirements. Via is very humble and gets along with everyone she meets. Despite all the glitz and glamour of other agencies, Via along with our other NLS models are loyal to our agency. We however, take models of all shapes and sizes. We are partnered with legit agencies in New York, Atlanta, Milan, Miami, and Los Angeles .

Now we want to tell you about this wonderful organization. The American Heart Association is a non-profit organization with a mission to improve public health by reducing cardiovascular diseases and stroke. It works primarily through advocacy, public awareness campaigns about preventive medicine and lifestyle, promotion of therapeutic practices and the funding of medical and scientific research. It is headquartered in Dallas, Texas. This organization is important to me because I lost so many friends and family members including my uncle just recently do to heart failure. This organization is more than its cute logo some organizations try to use it for a marketing tool. This is an organization with a mission and you can help by making a general donation at the "AHA Donate Now and Help Save Lives" website. Make your donation a personal tribute or remembrance by clicking on one of the buttons for "Memorial" or "Tribute" on the AHA Donate Now and Help Save Lives website.

You'll find information by clicking on the "Other Ways to Give" Link on the AHA Donate Now and Help Save Lives website. Maintain a filing system for all charitable donations, including cash and in-kind contributions. Include a file with all your American Heart Association materials, documents and donation records. This may save you time when you are preparing to file taxes, since contributions to these groups are usually tax-deductible. A good filing system can also help you quickly determine how much to give in future years.
